Job summary

S&S Fuels Management in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help operate a company-owned retail facility safely and profitably. You will support daily operations, supervise staff, and assist with shift coverage when the Store Manager is away.

The ideal candidate brings a positive, team-oriented management style, strong merchandising skills, and retail experience. This role is non-exempt and eligible for overtime, with competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in retail sales required.
• Experience in C-Stores is preferred.
• Experience in managing a retail sales location is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong merchandising skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in managing the store in-regard to daily operations, employees, payroll, merchandizing, and customer relations.
• Maintain good customer relations and resolve customer complaints, in a timely and professional manner.
• Prepare and transmit the daily bookkeeping, invoicing and gasoline data as required.
• Ability to complete daily banking.
• Troubleshoot daily close out and shift sales analysis.
• Assist the Store Manager with shift coverage in the event there are no other employees available to work.
• Safeguard and account for cash received and disbursed and be responsible for banking requirements.
