Job summary

S&S Fuels Management is seeking an Assistant Manager for a Company-owned retail store in Las Vegas, NV. This role supports the Store Manager in daily operations, staff supervision, and store oversight to ensure safety, customer focus, and profitability.

Responsibilities include supervising employees, resolving customer issues, and assisting with shift coverage, banking, and close-out tasks. Strong merchandising and retail management experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in retail sales required.
• Experience in C-Stores preferred.
• Experience in managing a retail sales location preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong merchandising skills.
• Full understanding of competitive relationships and market drivers.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in managing daily operations, employees, payroll, merchandising, and customer relations.
• Maintain good customer relations and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Prepare and transmit the daily bookkeeping, invoicing, and gasoline data as required.
• Complete daily banking tasks.
• Troubleshoot daily close‑out and shift sales analysis.
• Assist with shift coverage when no other employees are available.
• Safeguard and account for cash received and disbursed, and handle banking requirements.
