Goodwill Oberlin is hiring a Retail Store Assistant Manager I to support daily store operations in Oberlin, OH. The role includes leadership in the absence of the Store Manager, staff supervision, and ensuring quality customer service and donor relations.

Qualifications

• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to lead staff and work with a diverse public.
• Knowledge of retail daily operations, sales, community and customers relations.
• Knowledge of computer technology, including cash register and POS systems, Word, Excel.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
• Valid drivere29s license with good driving record and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Act as Retail Store Manager in his/her absence.
• Provide excellent customer and donor service with timely responses.
• Assist in meeting budgeted sales and production goals.
• Assist in directing, coordinating and monitoring store activities and business.
• Secure facility and merchandise by applying loss prevention measures.
• Handle administrative tasks, reporting, supplies and cash management.
