Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent is preferred.
• 0-5 years of retail or bookstore experience preferred; prior supervisory experience preferred.
• General computer skills essential for daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the work activities of sales team members FT/PT and temporary staff.
• Trains new team members and seasonal staff for peak seasons.
• Greet customers, answer phones, provide information, and resolve escalated issues.
• Receive, verify, and unload orders as necessary.
• Operate cash register and store computer to process payments and manage deposits.
• Stock shelves and maintain inventory per store schedule.
• Execute merchandising standards and create displays.
• Function as keyholder with opening and closing responsibilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
