Responsibilities span directing daily activities, scheduling, training, merchandising, cash handling, inventory, and opening/closing duties.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent preferred.
• 0–5 years retail or bookstore experience preferred; prior supervisory experience preferred.
• General computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises sales team FT/PT and temporary staff.
• Schedules team members' work hours.
• Trains new team members.
• Ensures policies, procedures, standards are followed.
• Manages merchandising standards and displays.
• Greet customers and resolve escalated issues; promote solutions-based selling.
• Handle cash, deposits, and end-of-day reports.
• Stock shelves and take inventory.
• Lead opening/closing duties as keyholder.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
