Job summary

Lids is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, coach staff, and ensure exceptional customer service. You will manage schedules, training, and performance while upholding company standards and policies.

The role focuses on sales results, inventory control, and creating a welcoming store environment that supports brand initiatives and in-store experiences for fans.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimising loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints when Store Manager not present.
• Manage store associates through training programs and goal setting.
• Administer discipline with verbal and written warnings when Store Manager absent.
• Engage team to create a fun, productive environment aligned with company objectives.
• Recruit and train store personnel on proper store operations and procedures.
• Ensure policy compliance and safekeeping of inventory and cash.
• Lead selling strategy to achieve KPIs and deliver customer service.
• Resolve customer feedback and escalations in the moment.
