Job summary

Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations and deliver exceptional customer service in our retail locations. You will mentor staff, manage schedules, and uphold brand standards while driving sales and ensuring a positive team environment.

Responsibilities include training, performance management, merchandising, and inventory control to support store goals. This role reports to the Store Manager and requires strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail store leadership or assistant management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
• Proven ability to meet sales targets and manage store operations.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on Duty for scheduling issues and customer concerns.
• Train and develop store associates using LIDS training programs.
• Administer disciplinary steps as needed and maintain a respectful environment.
• Lead selling strategies to achieve KPIs and provide exceptional customer service.
• Maintain POS systems, inventory accuracy, and daily store operations.
• Open and close store following Operations protocols.
