Dollar General Corporation is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Napoleon, OH to support store leadership, supervise staff, and ensure excellent customer service. You will help with merchandising, scheduling, training, cash handling, and loss prevention while upholding company policies.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet customers and operate cash register.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling employees, providing training, safety meetings, and policy compliance.
• Manage merchandise including receiving, stocking, rotation and displays.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels by controlling damages, markdowns, scanning and paperwork.
• Implement and maintain planograms per Store Manager direction.
• Ensure cashier accountability, deposits, and cash control procedures; sign refunds/overrides and count tills.
• Assist with the Store Manager in their absence.
