Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory operates a Huntington Beach store under The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center program. The team member will support a positive shopping and donor experience, assist with donations, and uphold the program's mission while developing customer service and teamwork skills.

The role requires part-time availability with a starting pay of $16.90 per hour. Benefits include PTO, employee discounts, and EAP.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must pass background check, including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, fellow store employees, customers, and donors.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and donors and provide prompt, courteous assistance.
• Stock and merchandize priced items for the sales floor.
• Maintain store and donation area, keeping it clean, neat, and organized; perform cleaning duties as assigned by Management.
• Follow POS/Cash Register Policies in accordance with TSA policies and procedures.
• Maintain safety and compliance standards.
• Attend required Monthly Store Meetings.
• Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory items accurately and efficiently.
• Provide receipts to donors for donated items.
• Sort donated material into proper containers and stack per Management instructions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
