Job summary

FirstCash is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Cahokia, IL to help lead our team and drive store performance. You’ll partner with the Store Manager to support daily operations, coach team members, and deliver outstanding customer service across a wide range of merchandise.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a HS diploma or GED.
• Experience in leadership or supervision preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations and serve as Manager on Duty when needed.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns.
• Coach, train, and develop team members to meet company standards.
• Assist with recruiting, hiring, and retaining top talent.
• Help drive store sales, profitability, and performance goals.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support asset protection initiatives.
• Open and close the store, including cash handling and operational procedures.
• Monitor loan and buying transactions to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Maintain attractive merchandising and store presentation standards.
• Analyze performance metrics and support the achievement of business objectives.
• Build product knowledge across a wide variety of merchandise categories.
