FirstCash is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Chicago to lead daily store operations, promote a customer-centric environment, and support store profitability. The role combines management responsibilities with hands-on sales in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will earn an hourly wage with commission based on productivity and a store-performance bonus. The paycheck may be enhanced by benefits, discounts, and a 401k program after eligibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum Age: 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Experience supervising others is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers in a friendly and professional manner and address issues.
• Assist in training Pawnbrokers and developing staff.
• Recruit top talent and manage scheduling and coverage.
• Open/close store, handle cash and protect assets.
• Monitor loans, inventory, and store merchandising.
• Drive profitability through performance and goal setting.
• Act as manager on duty in absence of Store Manager.
