Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc., through its Check N Go, Allied Cash Advance, and Cash Store brands, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager. This front-line role represents the brand by delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring regulatory excellence.

You will educate customers on products, handle cash, process transactions, and escalate issues to leadership. Travel within the district may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year experience in sales, customer service, and/or cash handling.
• Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work autonomously.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license with auto insurance.
• Commitment to accountable, inclusive, transparent, and focused values.

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on the product portfolio and present options meeting their needs.
• Escalate issues to store manager, DDO, and corporate office when needed.
• Answer general questions and process customer applications.
• Perform outbound sales, courtesy, and cash handling calls per regulations and procedures.
• Explain solutions professionally and ensure customers feel supported.
• Interact with customers using active listening to clarify information and diffuse complaints.
• Handle cash, balance drawers, deposits, and bank pickups as required.
• Balance batch receipts with sales reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Verify customer information and process all transactions per policy (loans, check cashing, Net Spend).
• Comply with federal/state regulations and company policies; complete trainings.
• Other duties as assigned.
