Job summary

AT&T in Anchorage, AK is seeking an Assistant Retail Store Manager to partner with the store manager to oversee daily operations and drive sales excellence. You will coach a team of retail sales consultants, support merchandising launches, and participate in outreach events to deliver outstanding customer experiences.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and results, with comprehensive training and opportunities for advancement within AT&T’s retail network.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Three or more years of sales and/or customer experience in telecommunications or a related industry
• Prior management experience
• Well-developed planning, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with wireless terminology, industry trends and AT&T mobility systems
• The ability to collaborate with key stakeholders on initiatives beyond store walls

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the daily operation of a retail store alongside a store manager
• Assist with merchandising and product launches and help meet/exceed sales objectives
• Provide customers with an extraordinary experience with our products and services
• Lead outreach and promotional activities, including off-site events as needed
• Coach a team of retail sales consultants to meet sales and service goals
