Lids is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily retail operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service across a fast-paced environment. You will mentor staff, ensure policy compliance, manage inventory, and maintain visual standards while supporting company initiatives.

Qualifikationen

Aufgaben

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints when Store Manager is not present.
• Manage store associates through LIDS Training Programs, goal setting, and regular follow-up when Store Manager is not present.
• Administer the progressive steps of discipline including verbal and written warnings in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Engage team members by creating a fun and productive environment and aligning their work with company objectives.
• Responsible for scheduling and staffing the store, including calling in associates during peaks when needed.
• Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on proper operations and procedures.
• Lead, execute, and assist selling strategy to achieve KPIs, sales targets, and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Resolve customer feedback and address issues in the moment, including escalations.
• Ensure customers are offered membership programs or in-store offers when live in-store.
• Adhere to current visual guidelines for merchandising and store cleanliness.
• Maintain a professional appearance per Dress Code Policy.
• Execute operations directives from HQ and adhere to Policies & Procedures Manual for a safe environment.
• Maintain store technology and equipment (MPOS, Lids Custom) including audits and maintenance.
• Maintain store facilities, supplies, and services and place repair orders as needed.
• Manage cash, open/close till, counterfeit protection, and bank drops.
• Prepare store for inventory audits and assist as needed.
• Open and close the store following standard procedures.
• Protect Company assets and organize backroom for efficiency.
• Assist in work schedules within wage guidelines.
• Manage inventory including receiving, transferring, price changes, and counts.
• Organize backroom and perform VM updates and seasonal changes.
• Maintain store appearance through VM actions and pricing signage.
