Job summary

89th & Madison in Minnesota is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to drive sales and ensure a welcoming customer experience. You will help shape store strategy, align the team with our mission, oversee opening/closing, inventory, and visual merchandising, and partner with the Store Manager on objectives and development.

The role requires at least 1 year of retail management, a strong sales focus, coaching skills, and proficiency with POS, Excel, and CRM systems.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience, ideally 1+ years in Assistant Manager responsibilities.
• Strong sales focus with leadership ability and coaching skills.
• Proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Word/Excel/email.

Responsibilities

• Exceed personal and store sales goals, leading by example and developing sales skills.
• Devise and implement sales strategies to optimize revenue and customer experience.
• Capture and manage client information and address customer needs and objections.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and familiarity with store layout and stockroom.
• Maintain housekeeping and visual merchandising; use POS, CRM, and inventory tools.
