Job summary

Michaels Cedar Falls store is seeking a team member to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming shopping environment in a fast-paced retail setting. You will perform cleaning tasks throughout the store, handle trash, dust and mop floors, and ensure high-traffic areas stay pristine.

You will also assist customers at checkout and participate in Omni-channel activities such as Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship from Store.

Qualifications

• Retail or cleaning experience preferred.
• Must be at least sixteen years old.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver Brand Promises.
• Provide friendly customer service and assist shoppers in finding items.
• Perform cleaning tasks including dusting, mopping, trash removal, and deep cleaning of high-traffic areas.
• Assist with checkout processes, rewards program enrollment, and Omni-channel initiatives as needed.
