Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a part-time Store Associate in Cedar Falls, IA. Maintain a high standard of store cleanliness and recovery to support our Brand Promises.

Provide friendly customer service, help customers shop, and process transactions to standards. Responsibilities include cleaning tasks, stocking, shelving, and assisting with Omni channel processes such as Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship from Store.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of overall look and feel of the store, including cleanliness and recovery standards.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; engage customers and handle cash to standards.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
• Stock, stockroom and planogram (POG) processes; support truck un-load and replenishment.
• Adhere to SOPs and company programs; participate in shrink and safety initiatives.
• Maintain positive interactions with team members and customers; support a welcoming store environment.
