Job summary

Michaels Stores in Cedar Falls, IA is hiring store team members to provide friendly customer service, help customers shop, and maintain a well-stocked store. You will ensure fast checkout, assist with merchandise, and participate in truck unloads and planogram adherence.

Applicants should have retail or customer service experience; training is provided. Weekend/evening shifts may be required, and you’ll work as part of a team aligned with Michaels' values and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner; promote a positive image
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
