Job summary

Goodwill Southern New England is seeking a Store Associate to support all non-management store operations, including receiving and processing donations, completing sales on the POS, displaying items, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment for donors and shoppers.

Under general supervision of the Store Manager, you will help with customer service, maintain storefront appearance, assist with light maintenance, and follow safety procedures to ensure a secure shopping experience for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred, not required; and one to three months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving and processing donations and completing sales transactions on the POS system.
• Display items on the floor and help maintain a clean, welcoming store environment for donors and shoppers.
• Follow safety procedures and assist with light maintenance to ensure a safe retail space.
• Provide courteous customer service and accept donations, offering receipts whenever applicable.
