Job summary

Goodwill Southern New England is seeking a part-time Store Associate to support daily store operations. You will assist with donations, process sales at the POS, and help display and pull items from the floor. A focus on customer service and a clean, welcoming environment is essential.

Under supervision, you’ll contribute to safe operations, perform light maintenance, and help maintain storefront presentation. Weekend and evening hours are common in this retail role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, not required; and one to three months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Students under 18 may be hired for part-time, but may not operate hazardous equipment and must follow CT DOL hours for minors.

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving and processing donations from donors and completing sales transactions on the POS system.
• Display and pull items from the sales floor; maintain a clean, safe, welcoming store environment.
• Provide good customer service and assist shoppers as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and assist with general light maintenance and store operations.
