Job summary

Goodwill Southern New England is seeking a Store Associate to support non-management store operations. Under supervision, you will assist in receiving and processing donations, complete sales on the POS, display items on the floor, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for donors and shoppers.

Weekend, holiday, and evening hours are typical. You may be trained across tasks including merchandising, customer service, and light maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, not required; and one to three months related experience or training.
• Ability to operate standard retail equipment and POS systems.
• Able to read simple instructions and communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in store operations including receiving donations and processing sales.
• Complete sales transactions on the POS with accuracy and in a timely manner.
• Assist shoppers and carry items to vehicles after purchase when appropriate.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety throughout the workplace.
