Goodwill Southern New England is looking for a Store Associate in Old Saybrook, CT to support daily store operations, process donations, and complete sales on the POS system in a welcoming environment. Under supervision, you will price and display merchandise, assist customers, handle donations, and maintain safety, cleanliness, and orderly aisles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, not required; 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to operate hand truck, pallet jack, or other material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in store operations including receiving and processing donations, pricing and displaying merchandise.
• Complete sales transactions on the POS system accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist shoppers and donors, maintain a clean and welcoming store environment.
• Aid in safety and loss prevention, following procedures and PPE guidelines.
