Job summary

Goodwill Store Associate in a retail environment provides friendly, efficient service and helps process donations and sales on the floor and at the POS. You will assist customers, maintain displays, and help with day-to-day operations to keep the store welcoming and safe for donors and shoppers.

This role typically requires standing for long periods, assisting with loading donations, and following store procedures to ensure accurate transactions and high-quality customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, not required; and 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and perform lifting up to 25 pounds; willingness to assist in all store areas.

Responsibilities

• Assist shoppers on the sales floor to locate and select merchandise.
• Complete sales transactions on the POS system with accuracy and in a timely manner.
• Accept donations from donors and provide receipts; help carry items to vehicles when needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness, floor appearance and overall safety for customers and staff.
