Job summary

Goodwill stores provide meaningful work and the chance to gain valuable experience while helping the community. This Sales Associate role focuses on delivering excellent service to customers and donors, ringing up purchases accurately, and keeping the sales floor clean and organized.

Responsibilities include processing donations, displaying merchandise, taking inventory, and assisting multiple store areas as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months of recent work experience or successful completion of a GISD employment program.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service to customers/donors. Refers to management any concerns or complaints.
• Accurately rings purchases and follows all cash handling policies and procedures. Maintains the sales floor safe, clean, and organized.
• Assists different areas of the store, such as processing and receiving donations. Safeguards company property, including donated goods.
• Places merchandise on display. Takes inventory of stock and pulls merchandise for transfer as directed by management, Sales II or Key Holder.
• Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned or directed.
