Job summary

Goodwill of Southern New England is seeking a part-time Store Associate to join our team in a busy retail environment. You will be handling donations, processing sales, and helping maintain a clean, welcoming store.

The role involves standing, lifting up to 25 pounds, operating POS, assisting customers, and working weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed. A high school diploma or GED is preferred; 1–3 months related experience or training; compensation includes a pay range of $16.94–$22.70

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, not required; 1–3 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in store operations including receiving and processing donations, completing sales transactions on the POS, displaying items, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment for donors and shoppers.
• Provide good customer service on the sales floor, assist shoppers in locating merchandise, and help with loading donations and purchases when needed.
• Follow safety procedures, operate light maintenance tasks, and maintain a safe store environment; comply with PPE requirements and use of equipment as necessary.
