Job summary

CubeSmart is seeking a Store Operations Associate to manage customer interactions and the leasing process across its self-storage properties. You’ll handle day-to-day sales, unit showings, and merchandise sales while ensuring accurate payments via our POS system.

You will also perform property maintenance tasks and maintain a clean, safe storage facility, contributing to a positive customer experience and store performance.

Qualifications

• Positive and outgoing personality with a passion for helping people.
• Experience delivering high quality customer service to a diverse market.
• Self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office products.
• Ability to work Saturdays and some locations may require Sunday hours.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interact face-to-face with customers, provide excellent service, and build rapport.
• Meet monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walk the property to perform daily operational tasks, including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Rent storage units, sell store merchandise, manage leasing, and process payments via POS.
• Keep the facility clean and safe, including routine maintenance tasks.
