Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Retail Stocking Team Supervisor in Worcester, MA. The role leads the Back of House team, coordinating receiving, sorting, and merchandising while partnering with Store Management to drive results.

You will supervise daily operations, foster teamwork, ensure safety and policy compliance, and contribute to training and onboarding of new associates. This position offers growth opportunities within a caring, inclusive organization.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in an off-price, big box, or a specialty environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to move/handle/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more, as well as standing/walking for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandise progression process (receiving deliveries, unloading and sorting cartons, processing merchandise, and flowing goods to the sales floor).
• Ensure back of house cleanliness, set-up and organization at standard.
• Reinforce Asset Protection strategies to reduce shortages.
• Promote safety for customers and associates by following guidelines.
• Cultivate a diverse culture based on teamwork and collaboration.
• Drive associate compliance with company policies and standards.
• Direct associates and workload to meet targets.
• Accountability for team productivity and merchandise protection.
• Coach associates in the moment and provide recognition.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates.
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings.
• Drive Community Relations participation through company programs and partnerships.
• Coordinate meal and break periods and monitor schedule adherence.
