Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Retail Stocking Team Supervisor to lead the Back of House/Receiving area and work closely with store management. This role is a stepping-stone to future management within our growing organization.

You will supervise merchandise flow, maintain back-of-house standards, train and coach associates, and help plan weekly workload while promoting safety, teamwork, and excellent service to customers and partners.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in an off-price, big box, or specialty environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to move/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandise progression process (receiving deliveries, unloading and sorting cartons, processing merchandise, and flowing goods to the sales floor).
• Ensure back of house cleanliness, setup and organization to standard.
• Reinforce asset protection strategies to eliminate shortage and promote safety.
• Cultivate a diverse culture based on teamwork and collaboration.
• Direct associates and workload; coach and recognize performance.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates.
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings.
• Drive community relations participation through company programs and partnerships.
• Coordinate meal and break periods and monitor schedule adherence.
