Job summary

Michaels in Chesterfield, MO is hiring for a Store Associate. You will help customers shop, locate products, provide solutions, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience with accurate cash handling.

You’ll engage customers in the Michaels Rewards program and support omnichannel services like BOPIS and SFS, while keeping the store well stocked and orderly. You’ll unload trucks, stock shelves, follow SOPs, and contribute to a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide fast, friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Responsible to complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including the merchandise return / go back process and general store recovery to ensure a well-merchandised and in-stock store
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
