Job summary

Michaels Stores in Richmond-Willow Lawn, VA seeks a friendly store team member to help customers, ring up purchases, and keep the floor well stocked. You will assist shoppers, handle transactions, and guide guests through our Rewards program.

Ambition to support omnichannel tasks like BOPIS and SFS, participate in stocking and merchandising, and uphold store standards. Retail experience preferred; must be able to stand, lift, and work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Support store recovery and merchandise return/goback process to keep the store well merchandised and in stock.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Interact positively with others and model Michaels values.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
