Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Store Team Member for our Richmond, VA location. You will deliver friendly service, help shoppers locate products, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience.

The role involves truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining planograms, plus supporting omnichannel efforts like BOPIS and SFS. You will promote rewards programs and work to uphold security, safety, and loss-prevention standards.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred
• Must be at least 16 years old
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast checkout experience and cash handling
• Enroll customers in Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards
• Educate customers on the VOC survey
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) duties
• Complete merchandise recovery and in-stock maintenance
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies
• Interact with customers professionally and be a role model
• Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production
