Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to support daily store operations, including merchandising and front-end duties. You will be cross-trained to operate the cash register and assist with cashiering as needed, while maintaining a clean, welcoming environment for customers and staff.

The role emphasizes customer service, integrity, and teamwork, with responsibilities ranging from receiving merchandise to processing payments and safeguarding assets.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Capable of lifting 30–50 lbs and standing/walking for long periods.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• High level of integrity.
• Basic math for cash accounting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily store operations including merchandising and front-end duties.
• Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely.
• Merchandise and stock as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and neat appearance of store and bathrooms.
• Provide a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and associates.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register and protect cash/assets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
