Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to assist with daily store operations, merchandising, and front-end support. You’ll be cross-trained to handle the cash register and shift to front-end duties as needed.

You will focus on creating a clean, welcoming environment, deliver friendly customer service, maintain cash security, and work with leaders to ensure smooth store performance. This is a part-time role in Ormond Beach, FL.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight safely.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Maintaining cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Maintaining a positive, safe environment and friendly interactions with customers and staff.
• Managing sales transactions on the cash register.
• Maintaining security of cash and protecting company assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
