Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking a Customer Service Associate II who brings a positive, friendly attitude and readiness to help. You’ll assist with daily store operations, merchandising, and support for customers across front-end duties as needed.

You’ll participate in safety and cleanliness, manage transactions at the cash register, and safeguard cash and assets while maintaining a welcoming environment for shoppers and team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in customer service in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
• High level of integrity is required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily store operations, including merchandising and stocking.
• Support cash register operations and front-end duties as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Manage sales transactions and cash register operations.
• Maintain security of cash and protection of company assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
