Job summary

Caesars Digital in Reno seeks a Retail Sportsbook Supervisor to lead a busy retail sportsbook, deliver excellent customer service to regulars and new bettors, and ensure operations run smoothly, compliantly, and profitably.

You will mentor ticket writers, control labor costs and inventory, and partner with sportsbook leadership to implement strategic initiatives that improve service levels and profitability, while maintaining regulatory compliance and responsible gaming standards.

Qualifications

• Prior work experience in a sports book is highly preferred
• Ability to motivate, lead, and mentor staff members
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Self-starter attitude who shows initiative
• Committed to delivering a high level of customer service
• 2+ years of experience working for a retail Sports Book as a Ticket Writer or Supervisor is highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Help the Book Manager maximize profitability by sharing operational information
• Manage operational costs with emphasis on labor and inventory control
• Hold regular meetings with leadership to drive strategic sportsbook initiatives
• Mentor employees to improve ticket-writing skills
• Motivate staff to deliver exceptional service to regulars and new bettors
• Handle escalated customer complaints and issues as needed
• Ensure staff comply with company and state gaming rules and regulations
