Job summary

Epicor seeks a Solution Engineer to empower the sales team with deep knowledge of retail software requirements and business use cases to close opportunities. You will demonstrate solutions, document processes, and analyze workflows in retail opportunities while collaborating with Product Managers to discuss potential developments and drive customer value. Up to 50% travel domestically; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred and relevant experience highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of presales within the retail industry or equivalent retail experience.
• Experience in e-commerce, point-of-sales and payment solutions.
• Background of success in supporting both direct and channel sales.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and conduct software demonstrations with the Sales team.
• Provide technical expertise by documenting processes and analyzing workflows in retail opportunities.
• Consult with sales to provide solutions to customer requirements.
• Act as liaison with Product Managers to discuss potential product development.
• Conduct customer and prospect webinars.
• Travel up to 50% domestically.
