Job summary

Epicor is seeking a Presales Solution Engineer for Retail to support the sales team with in-depth knowledge of our software requirements and business use cases. You will conduct demonstrations, document workflows, and tailor solutions for retail customers.

The role includes webinars, collaboration with Product Managers on potential product enhancements, and up to 50% domestic travel to engage with customers and partners. A background in e-commerce, POS, and payment solutions is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years presales experience in retail or equivalent retail operations.
• Experience in e-commerce, point-of-sales and payment solutions.
• Background in supporting both direct and channel sales.
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or finance industries.
• Documented experience giving customer presentations/demonstrations.

Presales Solution Engineer | Retail

Join Epicor as a Presales Solution Engineer! The Presales Solution Engineer provides the sales force (direct and channel) in-depth knowledge of the technical requirements and business use of our products in order to close retail sales opportunities.

What you will be doing:

• Prepare for and conduct software demonstrations along with Sales team.
• Provide technical expertise by documenting processes and providing work flow analysis in retail opportunities.
• Consult with sales force to provide solutions to customer requirements.
• Act as a liaison with the Product Managers to discuss potential product development.
• Conduct customer and prospect webinars.
• Up to 50% travel, domestic.

What you will likely bring:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience of presales within the retail industry or equivalent operational retail experience
• Experience in e-commerce, point-of-sales and payment solutions.
• Background of success in supporting both direct and channel sales
• Experience in the manufacturing, distribution, or finance industry
• Documented experience of giving customer presentations / demonstrations.

• 3+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience).
• MST, CST or EST preferred
