Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is hiring a part-time Shortage Control Associate to help maintain a secure shopping environment while delivering friendly customer service.

You will monitor entrances, exits and high-risk areas, greet customers with a warm smile, and support theft-reduction initiatives. You'll report theft incidents to the Manager on Duty, participate in shortage programs, and uphold safety standards with a professional appearance and strong situational awareness.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, asset protection, loss prevention, or operations preferred.
• Excellent communication with customers and coworkers.
• Excellent leadership skills to foster productive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entrances, exits and high‑risk areas to reduce theft opportunities.
• Greet every customer with a warm smile and energetic greeting.
• Identify and report theft incidents to the Manager on Duty.
• Support shortage reduction programs and training for associates.
