MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is seeking a Retail Shift Supervisor for the St Peters Store - Mid Rivers. This hourly full-time role supports our mission by supervising staff, delivering excellent customer service, and coordinating store operations.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of retail management or related experience, strong communication skills, and comfort with registers, scheduling, and inventory software. Competitive benefits and a monthly bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; no degree required.
• 1 year retail management or Goodwill/Warehouse experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including customer service, conflict resolution, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, direct, and train assigned staff and ensure they perform their essential/primary functions.
• Provide superior internal and external customer service to ensure repeat donors, shoppers, and staff retention and de-escalate customer dissatisfaction quickly and effectively.
• Coach and counsel employees concerning performance, including discipline up to termination.
• Exercise independent judgment in assigning daily duties to meet daily tasks.
• Identify employees with proven performance for advancement.
