MERS Missouri Goodwill Industries in Kansas City, MO is hiring a Retail Shift Supervisor to join our Midtown store. At $19.50 per hour, you will supervise staff, deliver great customer service, and help run daily store operations in a mission-driven environment.

No degree required; HS diploma preferred. You’ll lead a team, coach performance, manage schedules, and contribute to a positive work culture with competitive benefits and a monthly bonus.

Qualifications

• No degree required; HS diploma/GED preferred.
• 1 year of retail management or Goodwill experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable with registers and inventory software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, direct, and train assigned staff and ensure they perform their essential functions.
• Provide superior customer service to ensure repeat donors and shoppers.
• Coach employees concerning performance, including discipline when needed.
• Assign daily duties to achieve operational targets.
• Identify employees for advancement based on performance.
• Safeguard company property and report any issues promptly.
• Follow policies, procedures, and values of the organization.
• Manage staffing and payroll processes and schedules.
• Drive process improvements to reduce waste.
• Maintain professional appearance in line with dress code.
• Execute other duties as assigned.
• Monthly Bonus up to $500.00.
