Qualifications

• No degree required; High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• 1 year of retail management experience or previous Goodwill/Retail/Warehouse experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including customer service, conflict resolution, and teamwork.
• Leadership skills like decision-making, motivation, goal-setting, and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable with workplace technology like registers, scheduling, and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, direct, and train assigned staff; ensure they perform essential functions.
• Provide superior customer service to ensure donor and shopper retention; de-escalate issues.
• Coach and counsel employees on performance, including discipline up to termination.
• Assign daily duties to achieve operational tasks.
• Identify employees for advancement based on performance.
• Safeguard company property and report theft or inappropriate conduct.
• Read, follow, and enforce all agency policies and values.
• Arrange for replacements and manage payroll; audit/edit as needed.
• Eliminate wasteful practices through process improvements.
• Maintain professional appearance per dress code.
• Other duties as assigned.
