Responsibilities

1. Take the initiative: Recruit, coach, and train top talent in an emerging industry to ensure your team educates and informs customers.
2. Live the culture: Deliver a knowledgeable, genuine, and exceptional customer experience as an industry leader.
3. Have an eye for detail: Ensure the store is inviting, spotless, and well merchandised.
4. Share your passion: As the resident expert, ensure excellent staff training and product knowledge.
5. Build the brand: Create a welcoming environment and positively engage with the community.
6. Make it happen: Use your problem-solving skills and collaborative approach to achieve goals.
7. Aspire for operational excellence: Develop and implement processes, oversee inventory, provide feedback on trends, maintain visual standards, and assist with audits and compliance.

Qualifications

1. Must have or be able to quickly obtain Smart Choices Cannabis certification.
2. Provide a clean Criminal Background Check prior to start date.
3. Demonstrated leadership skills and 1-2 years of retail supervisory experience.
4. Experience with similar brands/products is an asset.
5. Ability to work nights, holidays, weekends, and at various locations.
6. Ability to develop and train staff through positive coaching.
7. Strong organization and problem-solving skills.
8. Excellent communication skills.
9. Flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends, and evenings.
10. Passion for customer service excellence.

Additional Qualifications:

1. MS Office Suite proficiency.
2. POS system experience.
3. Post-secondary education in a related field.
4. Visual merchandising skills.
