Job summary

Palmetto Goodwill seeks a dedicated team member to support the Retail Store Manager and Assistant Manager in daily operations at our Summerville store. You will assist with customer experiences, donations processing, pricing and stocking, and help train new staff.

The role requires basic math, cash handling, and familiarity with POS systems. Certifications in forklift/stacker and CPR/First Aid are encouraged. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret memos and operating manuals.
• Provide excellent customer experiences and handle inquiries professionally.
• Perform basic math and handle transactions accurately.
• Operate a cash register and point-of-sale system efficiently.
• Receive and organize donations, pricing and stocking merchandise.
• Obtain forklift/stacker certification and CPR/First Aid certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead retail team and store activities in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Train team members and provide coaching when needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Assist in opening/closing duties and securing the building.
