Job summary

Palmetto Goodwill is seeking a qualified team member to assist the Retail Store Manager and Retail Assistant Store Manager in the operation and management of a busy retail center. This role involves supporting team members and performing duties across cashier, donation processing, inventory, and customer service to deliver strong mission impact.

You will lead by example, train staff, and coach team members as needed, while ensuring safety, policy compliance, and excellent donor and customer

Qualifications

• Delivers exceptional customer experiences to all customers.
• Trains and coaches team members for performance and growth.
• Maintains safety, policy compliance, and accurate donations processing.
• Operates the POS system accurately and handles transactions.

Responsibilities

• Provides amazing customer experiences to all internal and external customers.
• Leads retail team and store activities in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Performs opening/closing duties and secures the building per guidelines.
• Maintains a clean work environment and safe operating procedures.
• Obtains forklift and walk-behind stacker certification and first-aid/ CPR/ BBP certification.
• Trains team members as they are onboarded and coaches as needed.
• Issues refunds and resolves customer concerns.
• Reports security or theft concerns to management and Asset Protection.
• Complies with agency policies, procedures and safety standards.
