Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a team member to help run store operations and deliver a top-notch customer experience in Indiana. Youll open/close the store in the absence of management, handle cash tasks, assist with vendor deliveries, and ensure floor and stock room readiness.

Youll engage customers, resolve issues, and model service best practices for the team while maintaining inventory accuracy, pricing, displays, and store cleanliness. This role emphasizes compliance and teamwork.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including required cash handling and ensuring readiness of floor and stock room.
• Completes product returns, refunds, and cash handling tasks across registers with accurate records.
• Engages customers by greeting and offering assistance to ensure a positive experience.
• Models and shares customer service best practices with team members to deliver a distinctive Walgreens experience.
• Hold store keys, supervise backroom operations and assist with vendor deliveries as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and pricing, manage signage and price changes following local regulations.
• Assist with bookkeeping duties, including cash reports and ledgers, and support store maintenance and displays.
