Meijer Inc. in Ohio seeks a store leadership role to oversee day-to-day operations across departments. You will mentor and coach team members, manage staffing and development, and ensure customer needs are met with quick, friendly service.

Responsibilities include P&L oversight, driving sales, maintaining store presentation, and upholding company standards during peak hours. Rotational assignments in areas like meat, bakery, produce, and deli may occur to support operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in other areas of the store such as meat, bakery, produce and deli; also customer service and product flow experience is helpful.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate to team members in the organization in a way that provides clear and precise direction.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and supervise team members in day-to-day operations across departments.
• Mentor and coach team members to improve service and sales.
• Manage staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs and budget.
• Promote succession planning and development for team members.
• Maintain P&L, achieve sales targets and control shrinkage.
• Ensure store appearance and safety during prime hours and high traffic periods.
