Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Georgia is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role may assume shift management in the absence of leadership.

This position emphasizes strong communication with customers and teammates, bilingual abilities encouraged, and active involvement in ordering, returns, and merchandising to drive store performance.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the retail showroom and ensure adherence to programs.
• Ensure telephone calls are answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure.
• Process and stage returns; issue refunds with correct payment methods.
• Invoice merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure staffing adherence to posted work schedule and proper clock-in/clock-out procedures.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures, including deposits and security checks.
• All other duties as assigned.
