Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support store management in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role may assume shift leadership in the absence of managers and emphasizes strong communication and multilingual capabilities where applicable.

The position involves overseeing service programs, handling orders, returns, and invoicing, and ensuring smooth daily store functions. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• RSS Certification is required/obtainable.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
• ASE Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the retail showroom and ensure team execution of service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders; contact customers on shipment arrivals as needed.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently per procedure.
• Manage returns, refunds, and invoicing prior to leaving the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages; delegate merchandising tasks; ensure adherence to work schedules.
• Perform store opening/closing duties, including day end procedures and secure cash handling.
• All other duties as assigned.
