O’Reilly Auto Parts in Lovington, NM is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistants in sales, service, appearance, and operations. The role includes shift management in their absence and a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to supervise shifts in absence of managers.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Knowledge of store operations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise service levels and execute customer programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot).
• Answer the telephone according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders, contacting customers on shipment arrivals as needed.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and per procedure.
• Ensure retail returns and exchanges are processed accurately and refunds issued using correct payment methods.
• Invoicing of all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker/merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedule and proper clock-in/out per policy.
• Perform opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, banking deposits, security checks, and vehicle security.
• All other duties as assigned.
