Job summary

Michaels Stores in Keizer, OR is seeking a friendly Store Team Member to assist customers, stock merchandise, and run a fast, accurate checkout. You’ll engage shoppers, support BOPIS and SFS processes, and uphold store standards to deliver our brand promises.

The role emphasizes customer service, basic cash handling, and teamwork to keep shelves stocked and attractive. Prior retail or service experience is preferred; availability for nights and weekends is a plus.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Educate customers on VOC surveys
• Assist with Omnichannel processes (BOPIS and SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
• Maintain store recovery and in-stock conditions, manage returns/go-backs
• Support SISO and AD set duties; assist shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; model professional behavior
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
